Call me Mel
Mel is a three thousand six hundred and twenty-one year old vampire. She is one of the oldest vampires in existence. She was born during the Mycenaean age to landowners in Greece. She was the second born but the first born daughter. When she turned 11 her youngest two siblings died of illness. When she was 16 she married a man far older than she, as was the custom then. She was 17 when she had her first daughter and the falling year lost a child to illness. At 18 she had her husband were surprised when she delivered twin boys.
In her 20th year her family was attacked by a monster and when she fought back he liked it and instead of killing her like he had the rest of her family he decided to make her like him. Mel wanted her revenge and after 50 years under his thumb she transferred his ability to another and because he could no longer track her she escaped. After running for 100 years she finally crossed paths with him once more and killed him getting the revenge she needed. After that she wandered for roughly 3500 years. When she met Earnest and Carine in her travels, she was surprised at their diet and decided to observe them. She was intrigued as she didn’t know there was another way. She had never really enjoyed having to kill people to survive as killing had destroyed her human family and so after several years she finally accepted their invitation to join their family and she took on the diet.
Though she still had her moments as she had drank from humans for well over 3500 years. Old habits were hard to break but she hasn’t drunk from a human in over 20 years so she was quite pleased with herself for this. Now to celebrate her 20+ years, she has decided to become an elementary school teacher as she missed her three babies dearly and they helped her with her sadness. Although she has never had a mate she does wonder where her mate is as she has yet to meet him. She worries she may not ever find a mate.
Friends
Mel is a friendly person and although she has been alone for a majority of her existence she is happy to have the friends she has today. I’m sure she is friends with most if not all the Cullen family plus all the branches off.
Enemies
Mel tries not to make enemies but she is sure to have some. Just don’t harm her new family and we’re all good.
Lovers
Mel was married before she was turned but he was killed with her children in front of her eyes by the man that turned her. She didn’t love her husband as love was a thing of stories to her but she has been a live for well over 3600 years and she has seen the bond of mates in so many different forms. During those years she has had lovers but they were only one time things and as such she is currently mateless.
